On Wednesday 19th July the Orange Tree school had a surprise visit from the amazing Papa Gee’s Crazy Ice cream Truck.
We heard his enticing music before we saw his bright truck. The students all came flocking out and queued patiently whilst trying to decide what the wanted to order. The choices were eminence and so this was not an easy decision for the students or for the staff with many creeping to the back of the que to give themselves more time to decide. There was 16 sauces to choose from alone. We had never seen so much choice before.
Once everyone had chosen an ice cream from a double cone with sprinkles, or an ice cream with candy floss, we all sat in the sunshine and enjoyed our ice cream. It was such a lovely and happy surprise. It might have to become an annual event.
